We all do stupid things all the time; things that make us look like idiots, things that we don't realize are stupid until they come later in our lives to haunt us, things that affect our lives , careers, relationships,...etc. But all that is fine, as long as you're only affecting yourself. The problem comes when you do stupid things and these stupid things hurt people; especially people you care about. The worst kind of stupid things is the kind that you feel so hurt when it happens to you and you really wish it never happens to anyone you know and then you realize you just did that to one of your closest friend.
Days like this are really horrible, and you feel so insignificantly small and in a way scared, like that whole day is a nightmare that you wish would just end. You feel like you want to go to a corner and cry make it go away, because you've been there before, you've had that exact pain before, and you yourself gave it to someone else. You become the scary monster under the bed, and you avoid mirrors at all cost knowing that if you look you'd even scare yourself away.
But..
You remember, if this person is your friend, then there must be something right that you did at some point along the way. You think that maybe if you try hard to recognize the thing that makes your relationship with that friend special, and work on it, real hard, you can maybe win their friendship back.
On days like this, you give them the space they need, write a pointless blogpost like this one, and pray that they still find it in their heart to forgive you.
