Some girls are born pretty.
Some girls are born talented.
But unfortunately she was not one of those lucky few. She was one of the millions who came to Hollywood hoping to be a star. She worked hard day after day memorizing all sorts of scripts and lines, and spent her nights working on dance steps in hope that one day she will be discovered.
And after several years of small time jobs , and declined auditions, when she almost accepted that maybe she wasn't meant to be an actress after all, she met them. They not only produced but also advocated for a different type of movies; movies that had a message and value not just big blockbusters with no real moral. And just like fairy-tales, with them around, she made magic happen every single day. She looked up to them, and they believed in her. She would watch them do their daily routine with admiration and they taught her to discover her talents, and use her strength.
Together, they worked as a team on several successful works. She was always challenged, trying hard to meet up to their expectations , trying to make them proud, trying to show gratitude for what she had learned, what she has become. And then one day, they heard the news of the nomination and the days flew by so quickly and in the big hall with the red carpet and the millions of viewers around the world they heard these words..
"Academy Award for Actress in a leading role ..................And the Oscar goes to..."
And it was time to say her speech
"I would like to thank the Academy..
........My fans...
.................My family..........
.. and most of all.. I want to thank my producers.. Guys, you came to my life at the exact right time; I was about to give up, but with your vision , I could see the light at the end of the tunnel. With your inspiration, I became creative and with your support I learned to lead. It's not everyday that you meet people as crazy as you are, people you can call family. You helped me become what I am today , and for that, I thank you , from the bottom of my heart.......... I'm running out of time I know but I know there is something I gotta say but can't remember. I'll just wrap up by say to my producers: Stay cool! I love you guys. "
