I haven't been updating you guys with my personal news for a while now.
So much has been going on yet nothing much has happened... it's funny but weird...
After joining OpenCraft, life has been taking a faster pace, giving me a pleasant rush in my blood making life more interesting. I've been exploring alot of roads.. both physical roads and roads in my life...
At work, the good news is we won a really interesting proposal, which I have worked on (yeaaaaaaaay won my first proposal)...I'm sort of handeling several aspects of the project, some of which I have never done before and some I have. It's really challenging in an interesting way which makes me want to do my ultimate best.. I also have the best two coaches ever.. Rady and Karim; my managers(Thanks guys!). I'm learning so much alhamdulilah. So that's been keeping me busy for the last month almost! And here's another interesting blood rush!
As mum always called me "shawar3ageya" which has not direct translation so I will just leave it this way for those who understand it. I've been actually abusing this name these days. Now that work is around 20Km from home, I try to go around seeing different routes and combinations possible to go home in the shortest time. The other thing, is that recently I had several errands to run in new Cairo, so I've been exploring roads and getting lost in the weirdest places! I like the fact that however much I feel scared when I'm lost, when I actually reach my destination, an overall sense of satisfaction that I managed to find my way.Another blood rush!
I changed gyms, I joined a new ladies-only gym which turned out to be really good. I also got back on the healthy/limited portions diet so I'm back on the loosing weight track again... That's another rush!
Took my family out for mothers day.. we went to this amazing Lebanese restaurant in the JW Marriot. It was really cool. And speaking of restaurants, I finally tried steak@ charwoods and went to Abo el Sid! I've been wanting to do that for ages! The next on the list is Asiatique i guess but anyway.. I've been going out a lot recently .. another exciting rush!
And then, there's the other rush.. the one that actually matters.. the one you feel when you get an overall satisfaction with your life especially when you've been down for so long... A particular rush that one likes to feel and hope to keep on feeling for a long time... it might be because of all the changes, or any other reason.. or.. it might just "be". I'd stick with the "be" and hope it lasts!

"OpenCraft" caught my eye so I read on. I really like that company. If only it wasn't so far away from where I live.
interesting blog. hope you don't mind me popping in every now and then.
